Machinist

Due to continued growth, Dakota Fluid Power, Inc., a regional leader in hydraulic sales, service and repair, is looking for an individual to fill an opening for a Machinist in our Sioux Falls, SD service department.

Skills:

Basic machine shop experience capable of operating lathe, mill, welder.
Cylinder repair knowledge is a plus.

Requirements:

Strong mechanical skills. Able to understand and draw basic blueprints.
Understand basic machining principles and practices with attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must provide basic hand and measuring tools.
Understand basic welding principles and practices. With some supervision, should be capable of wire feed, TIG and stick welding.
Safety conscious.
